The Club

The Pakenham Junior Football club was formed in 1997 as part of the Dandenong and District Football League.  At that time, the club consisted of four teams comprising of approximately 80 kids. The club was located at the “old ground” in Henry Street, Pakenham.

In 2000 the club relocated to the Toomuc Reserve on the Princes Highway.  A new committee was formed as a sub-committee of the Pakenham Senior Football Club.   The club now fields 15 teams from Under 8’s to Under 17’s with approximately 280 kids. The all important Auskick program  currently provides membership for about 200.  Pakenham Junior Football Club is affiliated with the South East Juniors Football League.

The club is a vital part of the local community  and its success relies heavily on contributions from parents, family, friends and volunteers and sponsors.  We promote an active lifestyle for local kids while offering the benfits of healthy competition, social networking and community involvement.  We are able to maintain this through generous sponsorship, social events and fundraisers, as well as financial contributions from players families.

The club is managed on a volunteer basis by a committee made up of parents and interested local residents,  making the club a true community organisation.

We greatly appreciate the support provided to us by the Cardinia Shire Council and the Toomuc Reserve Committee, as well as the businesses who support us through sponsorship.

New members are always welcome so feel free to drop down to the clubrooms on match day or use the contact page to let us know if you would like to be involved as a player or a volunteer.
