The Pakenham Junior Football Club was formed in 1997 as part of the Dandenong and
District Football League. At that time, the club consisted of four teams comprising of
approximately 80 kids. The club was located at the “old ground” in Henry Street, Pakenham.
In 2000 the Club relocated to the Toomuc Reserve on the Princes Highway and Pakenham Junior Football Club is affiliated with the South East Juniors Football League.
The club has since grown in size, now fielding 15 teams from Under 8s to Under 17.5s including two female teams with approximately 330 kids across the club.
The all important Auskick program currently provides membership for about 130 children with a focus on an all girls Auskick program.
The club is a vital part of the local community and its success relies heavily on contributions from parents, family, friends and volunteers and sponsors. We promote an active lifestyle for local kids while offering the benefits of healthy competition, social networking and community involvement.
We are able to maintain this through generous sponsorship, social events and fundraisers, as well as financial contributions from players' families. .
The club is managed on a volunteer basis by a committee made up of parents and
interested local residents, making the club a true community organisation. We greatly
appreciate the support provided to us by the Cardinia Shire Council as well as the businesses who support us through sponsorship.
Pakenham is a family-oriented club with a strong culture of fairness, equality, inclusion and friendship. We are proud of the environment our club provides and promotes, with no tryouts and inclusion of all abilities.

Auskick is the best way to introduce kids to the great game of Aussie Rules Football! It’s all about fun, getting hands on the ball and constantly being involved in exciting activities, has no contact and open to all abilities, all
genders and kids ages 5 – 12.
Junior Football is the next step for kids who are ready to move on from NAB AFL Auskick or other introductory school and/or community programs.
Junior football starts with U8 and goes through to U17.5. From U8 to U10 rules of the matches are modified so all the kids can continue to develop their skills in an environment that is enjoyable and safe.
Junior football is a great way for kids to have fun learning through play, make new friends and create memories that last a lifetime.
